BRUMAR S.R.L. UNIPERSONALE has adopted a Social Management System compliant with PAS 24000 and applicable legislation. This policy is intended to inspire pride and trust among all people working in the company.
Our priorities
- Comply with national, EU and international laws and PAS 24000 principles on work and labour rights.
- Maintain PAS 24000:2022 social-responsibility requirements and pursue continual improvement through measurable objectives.
- Provide suitable training, involve suppliers, conduct internal audits and communicate our commitments to stakeholders.
An Ethics Committee implements and monitors the Social Management System.
The eleven commitments
1. Human rights
Brumar respects human rights, regularly assesses related risks and prevents adverse impacts.
2. Forced labour
No forced labour is used or supported, and no person works under threat or penalty.
3. Child labour
Employment below the legal minimum age is prohibited. Young workers may only perform lawful, non-hazardous duties.
4. Freedom of association
Workers’ freedom of association and trade-union rights are respected.
5. Non-discrimination and fair treatment
No discrimination based on age, sex, religion, race or equivalent status is tolerated.
6. Occupational health and safety
All necessary measures are taken to ensure a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/08.
7. Building safety
Emergency routes and fire equipment are marked, accessible, maintained and inspected; buildings and equipment are monitored for safety and stability.
8. Employment relationships
Work is performed under formal, verifiable employment contracts governed by the applicable national collective agreement.
9. Working time
Working time complies with the collective agreement and does not exceed 48 hours per week. Overtime is voluntary, paid at a premium and limited to 12 hours weekly.
10. Grievance procedure
Workers and external parties can report concerns confidentially. Good-faith reporters are protected from retaliation.
11. Business ethics
Brumar applies an anti-bribery management system compliant with ISO 37001:2016 and works to prevent corruption, extortion, embezzlement and bribery.
Communication and review
The policy is displayed clearly in workplaces and online and is reviewed annually by management.
